On Saturday night a fire was started in the waste bins. CCTV footage showed it wasn’t arson. Something in the bin bags must have been smoldering thereby igniting a fire that caused quite a bit of damage as you can see from the photo.
It’s important that people do not throw away hot or smoldering objects with their waste as this fire proved how dangerous that can be!
Fortunately, security and fire brigade were quick to react and nobody got hurt. Please be careful so this won’t happen again.
