At this stage most residents will have their "old" magnetic strip cards changed for the more reliable chip cards. However, there are still a few people using the "old" cards and they are advised to change their cards as soon as possible. The old magnetic strip cards are not too reliable and by using them there could be a risk of one being locked out.
Also, if new tenants get their key cards from their landlord or letting agent, it is important to get their cards checked by the concierge. Key cards are valid for two years max and need to be checked/updated!
